Rachel started working as a trainee veterinary nurse (VN), in 2004 in a mixed practice in Perthshire. She qualified as a VN in 2008 and went on to become a Head Nurse.
Rachel joined Animac Vets in 2010.
She enjoys all aspects of nursing, especially surgery.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, entertaining friends, and spending time with her family.
Sam joined Animac Vets in August 2016.
Sam started her training as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2012, moving on to Veterinary Nurse training in 2013, becoming a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse in the summer of 2016.
She enjoys medical nursing and getting to know the clients and their pets.
In her spare time she enjoys walking her 2 whippets, Rollo and Hannah, fitness classes and spending time with family and friends.
Sam joined the team in November 2018 after working in other practices for 4 years. Sam qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in November 2017. Sam has a keen interest in anaesthesia and emergency treatment and hopes to do further qualifications in these subjects in the future. In her spare time, Sam has an 11 year old cocker spaniel called Maddie who loves going on long walks and still acts as if she is a puppy!
